Portland is the approved fuel price supplier for both Logistics UK (formerly known as the Freight Transport Association [FTA]) and the Freight Transport Association Ireland (FTAI). As a Logistics UK/FTAI affinity partner, Portland provides members with wholesale, delivered-in and forecourt fuel pricing.
Portland is the official fuel pricing partner of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS). FORS is a voluntary scheme that helps operators improve performance in safety, fuel efficiency, economical operations and vehicle emissions. It offers peace of mind that vehicle operators are meeting their legislative requirements, as well as helping to increase efficiency, reduce costs and therefore win work and it gives them the tools to become safer, smarter, greener. With over 4,700 accredited members operating 94,000 vehicles, FORS is the largest scheme of its kind in the UK.
Portland partners with the Association of Convenience Stores and provides the retail and forecourt fuel data for its annual review.
Portland provides fuel pricing and consumption data to the UK and Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA) for use in its annual Downstream industry review.
